Wow!!

So, today has been a pretty good day! I have to share. I am smiling from ear to ear! Today started like any other.. get up.. have breakfast, get the Zumba exercise done, and go thru my list of things to do. During all of this, the mail man stops and I have a box, from a very special person... Kimberly Van Diepen. I was just in happy tears when I seen what was inside.. lets take a peekie..

Can you say... Wow!!! Kimberly, what beautiful creations. I love them.. thank you SO much. I have officially been labeled a Diva.. and I kinda really like it!!! Tee hee!!

Also, I finished cleaning my windows in the house.. inside and out (does this mean it will rain now?LOL) AND,  I also cleaned my blinds. That bit of spring cleaning is DONE! Woohoo.. !!! I'm a happy camper because, this means I can STAMP!!! It is my little reward that I just love love love !!!

Also, I received a call today from a dear friend who I do miss very much. Sharon, you rock!! I'm so glad we caught up. :) I just have this super duper smile on my face. Now, what to stamp??

I want to share the Make N Take cards from Milwaukee Regionals but I will save that for tomorrow's post. For now, have a great Thursday and make sure to take time to get inky!!

More Summery Smooches Sneak Peek

HI Everyone! As promised I wanted to show you some other awesome goodies that Jenny Peterson made for us. We have a new die being introduced - check out this little purse. Isn't it cute? Inside fits a mini Kit Kat! Yum! This could be used for birthday party favors, for baby and bridal shower gifties. Lots of possibilities!

This next gift we all received I think is not only adorable but so clever!!! A lot of Stampin` Up! 's embellishments come in these plastic containers OR, you can buy them (page 226 of the Idea Book And Catalog #103649). Card stocks used are:Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, and Summer Smooches DSP. Also used is the NEW Summer Smooches fabric.. SOcute, the new Summer Smooches Fabric Brads and Real Red 1/4 inch Grosgrain Ribbon. The inside is recycled so to speak. When we get some of our ribbon, there is a plastic spool in the middle of the roll. That is what is used here and Jenny put the Lucky Limeade Bakers Twine (in the Occasions Mini Catalog). Thank you again Jenny - SO DARN CUTE!

Tomorrow, I will show you the Make N Take caards we created in Milwaukee at Regionals. In the meantime, take a lil time out to get inky!

Something Pretty!

Hi There! I have more goodies from Regionals to show you. My good friend and upline, Jenny Peterson, made us each a beautiful card and also put some other goodies into a bag. They were sitting in front of each chair when we arrived to our table. How sweet is that? Ill show you the card today. It is so pretty. She used the products from the new Summer Smooches line, which will be in the NEW 2012-2013 Stampin` Up! Catalog. However, the good news is....... YOU too, can pre order this line of goodies starting April 1st - April 30th. Pretty cool, huh? It is gorgeous. So summery! I'm so ready for summer, aren't you?

Here is the beautiful card she made us:

She used Crumb Cake Card Stock, Crumb Cake Ink, Sponge Dauber, the NEW Summer Smooches DSP and Seam Binding Ribbon, the NEW Decor Stencil, along with Island Indigo Card Stock and a stamp from the set, Loving Thoughts, which can be found in the Occasions Mini Catalog. Thank you again, Jenny! I really loved each goodie and Ill be showing you all tomorrow, what else was in my goodie bag. Take time to get inky!

Oh My Goodness...!

Good afternoon everyone! Woweeee.. have I had a crazy fun weekend! On friday, 8 of us ventured to Milwaukee Wisconsin, to the Stampin` Up! Regionals Event. We took off Friday around noon, and slowly ventured to Milwaukee .. driving around Lake Michigan, through Chicago and to Milwaukee. We stayed over night in a Hotel that connects to the Convention center. We had a good time at dinner. We went to bed early and got up at 5am! We got all purdy and headed to breakfast and then onward to the Convention Center. It was so much fun! One of my downline (and my BFF) was able to go! Yay, Lucinda! It was like a mini convention. Let me share a few photos. We did swapping with other demonstrators, we got to meet Shelli Gardner, CEO of Stampin` Up!, we did Make N Takes, and had lunch. We had WOW workshops to watch. My upline and VERY good friend, Jenny, did one of the WOW presentations and she just totally rocked the house! Way to go, Jenny!!! She said she was nervous - I don't buy that - she looked cool as a cucumber and right into her "zone". We then got to see Donna Griffith, Shannon West, and Carrie Cudney on stage. They shared some very inspiring projects. We also had Georgia Giguere from Mendota Heights, MN, on stage giving her take on how she does her workshop parties. She did such a wonderful job! Such helpful information.

To sum this um.. we really had a great time. Here are some photos to share with you. Eventually, I WILL learn MDS (My Digital Studio) so I too, can put these pictures with pretty scrapbook pages, and books and calendars and all of that wonderful stuff!

This here was my swap card. I am really into green lately and I love love love, the DSP that Sale A Bration is offering right now. I used a lot of new stuff from the Occasions Mini Catalog on this card. I will showcase this more, tomorrow, sharing the "recipe". I just had to show that it was on display and that put a smile on my face! Here is Lu's card...

Isn't that cute? I really love the color combination and I think right now, Mixed Bunch and the blossom punch are my favorites right now. They work so well together and make card making really easy!

This was our group getting together the night before. From left to right are: Ann, Jenny, Tara, Maureen, Bernice, Lucinda and Sherry.. aka, Tulip! Jenny gave us some goodies from one of her really good customers, Jamie. Jamie, thank you so much! That was SO sweet of you. She even made us a HUGE basket full of goodies to have with us all day yesterday. It was delicious and everyone totally enjoyed. So kind and thoughtful of you!

It is so much fun to attend events with wonderful friends!!

Stampin` Up! 's theme this year.. :)

Two Dawn's are better than one, right? This is myself with Dawn O

Here are a few of us with Shelli Gardner. It was such a pleasure to meet her!!
